You must set the ad_network_ads.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

So they've sent out invites for the beta, but I haven't received one. My wife and my friend did, though. The hours you can play are really weird. I think my wife can only play Thurs & Fri at night and sunday during the afternoon. It's super buggy right now, but she seems to enjoy the game.
