OK so if I can't get the one account I have on here to access any webpages I may just go ahead and add another one.

The problem is my main Outlook Express account is under the corrupted account and I'm not sure how I'd get that all transfered to an Outlook Express under he new account.

I don't think new mail would be a problem as I'd just set it up to receive incoming mail but I'm not sure how I'd get things saved in private folders to the new account.

I know w/ regular Outlook you can move/copy .PST files but I'm not sure if those are available in Outlook Express.

I could probably resend all of the saved emails to myself but I'm thinking there's gotta be a better way.

Any help would be appreciated as always.

That doesn't help matters.

I'm a loyalist and would rather send each email agian than learn a new compuer.

I don't have the answer, but why do you use Outlook Express, which is a crippled version of a closed program when you can use something like Thunderbird?

It was actually the program loaded on my wife's laptop and it's what I used.

We need a replacement because this one is so slow now and that's why I never installed Outlook 2007.

I found out how to do what I needed though.

This Thunderbird thing something worth looking into ?

Free ?

Thunderbird is a mail program by the same people who make the Firefox browser. I would recommend installing it on your system and trying it. I believe it will read in your Outlook Express mailbox so you can go seemlessly.

Outlook Express is a bit of a waste. Outlook is good for a high scaled business that needs multiple services (and some may even disagree with me on that), but I would never recommend OE, even though it comes standard on Windows.

create 2 new folders on your desktop.
one called "inbox", the 2nd called "sent"

highlight all the emails you want saved, drag and drop into the correct folder.
reverse process when putting them back into outlook express.

done.
