I was dumping the lobster into the sink while I was on the phone and it slipped from my shoulder/ear and landed in about 2 inches of just about boiling water. First I burned my hand by picking it up. Then i thought it was fried until I heard "hello....hello" through the phone.

IT DIDNT EVEN DROP THE CALL I WAS ON. The speaker is a little fucked up still and the ringer isnt as loud as it was but the screen (touch screen) works completely fine and everything else does too, even the camera.

I'd still turn it off, take the battery out, and let it sit out overnight. You want to make sure it's dried out.

i used it for 45 min after it happened
then i took the battery off and it was wet. I dried it off, put it back in, turned it back on, and it still works fine
