It goes down every 20 minutes lately saying I don't have premium online service. I uninstall and reinstall, it works for 20 minutes, Repeat the process.

At the advice of folks here I got pocket tunes which does not require premium service and you can record
off it. I may even cancel my myfi and just use an Internet data package deal.

Sailor is correct pay the 7 bucks for Pocket Tunes, you can record the stream, you don't need a premium account and you can browse web pages right in the app. Or there is ooTunes that also streams it on the iPhone but I don't know much about that app since I have never used it.

Does anyone else's XM app constantly buffer? I listen for 5 minutes and 3+ minutes of buffering.

I always hear people bitching how the XM app works like shit and is worthless. I have it on my Itouch and it works perfectly, I've never had a problem.

Are you on Wifi, 3G or EDGE ?

The only problems I have with the official Sirius/XM app are that it times out due to inactivity just like the web player does and you can't listen to Howard 100 & 101. With Pocket Tunes the player doesn't time out and you can listen to Howard's channels.

You are lucky.

It was fine for a long time but recently 4 times a day it shuts off saying my account doesn't have premium online. I have to delete the app and reinstall each time. Total pain in the ass.

A $6.99 app that allows you to listen to and record hundreds of radio stations, one block of which is XM channels. You can listen live, using just your XM account (Internet or regular sub, no premium Internet needed).
