I'm not aware of any but I was wondering if there were cell phones that allowed you to receive calls on 2 or more numbers.
Say you had a work# and and a personal#.
It seems like it would be easy enough to do.
Any ideas ?

OK so if I read it correctly I could keep my cell# and if I was given one of these Google Voice #s I could have them sent to the same phone.
Sounds interesting.
I requested an invite so we'll see.
I still can't believe that a BlackBerry doesn't have this kind of feature.
Maybe they will now if Google has any success w/ the Google Voice.
Thanks for the suggestion.

its less a limitation of the phone and more so of the MSC/NSS translation software and having multiple DN's associate with a single ESN or IMSI
an easy way around this is to have a real or virtual DN forwarded to your cell phone....restriction being that when you call out you can't choose the CLID info being pushed out to the person your calling and they only see your cellphone number

How does one get multiple invites ?
Care to share one ?
Oh and OTB, thanks for some background.
While I may have not known the exact meaning of some of the terms I believe I got the idea.

A lot of cell phones will take two numbers, but not at the same time. You can only receive calls from one number at a time.
But google voice is the way to go. You can make as many numbers as you want to forward there.
