This is pretty much the only PPV I still order. I have a group of friends over to watch it, some of which dont even watch wrestling or know anything about the wrestlers.

What we do is put $20 each into a pot. Take all the Rumble contestants names, write them on paper and put them in a hat. Then each of us pick out an equal number of names. Whoever picks the eventual winner takes the pot. Usually at least $160.

Its great because the guys that dont follow wrestling dont know whos favored and who has no shot. So seeing a guy that never watches wrestling and couldnt care less screaming at MVP to "hang onto the fucking rope!" is just a hilarious site.

When all 30 participants arent announced we put the names "Surprise wrestler 1, surprise wrestler 2, etc." That year was the biggest upset ever as "Surprise wrestler 3" took the cash.
