"Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster" has to be one of the "Big G's" best.
If you saw this gem, remember the go go dancing with the rock band singing "Save The Earth"? LOL

I like the war of the gargantuans myself. Godzilla vs Mecha Godzilla. or kong vs godzilla. I like those tank thingys that shot lasers or electricty. And had absolutely no effect, why did they bother then lol. How come we have never made those laser tank thingys yet. Maybe its becuase we dont have giant monsters from monster island stomping the bejesus out of us.
And the number one way to tell someone their fly is unzipped...

No matter how many times I watched "Godzilla vs. King Kong" as a kid, it always infuritated me that King Kong won. I'd watch it every time it was on, just waiting for Godzilla to finally kick that monkey's ass! I'm still pissed off!

I loved the Godzilla movies. especially the MST takes on them. However, all those movies were of better quality than the Broderick one.

The ending is not very clear. Watch the fight scenes again, look at the beating Godzilla gave Kong, plus the radiation burns. It was close, but Godzilla wins in a close decision. Just because the ending shows Kong swimming freestyle back to his island and Godzilla sinking to the bottom of the ocean proves nothing. Godzilla ALWAYS sinks to the bottom of the ocean. Watch it again, you'll see things more clearly Mr. Gvac! Now don't get me started on Ghidrah, the 3 Headed Monster, aka "Monster Zero" LOL!

from what I read it all depends the final roar you hear. in America King Kong does the final roar and in Japan either they both roar or just Godzilla roars. The American supposed winner is Kong and Japan's "winner" is the G-dog. But technically the ending is the same for both except on the soundtrack.
I actually saw the original Godzilla from 1954 I believe in a theater in Huntington a few months ago in the original Japanese format, subtitles, no dubbing or Perry Mason. He actually dies in that one.

"Monster Zero"
OMG!! That monster was the best, next to Godzilla himself!
I love the part in Godzilla vs. Smog Monster when the G man starts ripping eggs out of Smog Monster!
HECK, do you have all the Godzilla movies on tape?

I love them all (even the cheesy ones they made in the 90s), but my personal fave is Godzilla v. Megalon. It's not one of the more well known 'zilla flicks, but it's great because of two reasons:
1) Jet Jaguar! Godzilla's giant android tag team partner.
2) Godzilla does a running dropkick on the monsters. Priceless.

I never liked Mothra, except for the little twins who sang that horrible Mothra chant.
Top Godzilla flicks:
Godzilla vs King Kong
Godzilla vs The Smog Monster
Godzilla vs Monster Zero
Destroy All Monsters
Rodan was lame, he was always getting shot down, and Gamera, the flying turtle? Awful. "Son Of Godzilla" was okay in small doses, watching him blow the smoke rings. LOL

Godzilla was always a pussy! Gamera or Mothera should have kicked his ass. Kong Rules! Always did always will!
The best monster movie was War at Monster Island or something like that, Gargantuans were pretty cool too!
Just kidding Heckler Godzilla wasn't that much of a pussy. :) :)

How about Godzilla versus the sea creature that was the best when he boiled that lobster in the end. But by far the best one ever was Godzilla versus Gigan. When there was the giant Godzilla tower and the aliens were superintelligent cockaroaches...f***ing classic!!!

I think the remake of "Godzilla" was horible. I was hoping "G" would have stomped Matthew Broderick,
Or maybe Nathan Lane will do it!
