I Need To Constantly Reload Pages

I got a new netbook for christmas and I've had the problem since it started. Pages will just not load, so I have to constantly refresh until it does. And then the page will load, but not completely. None of the images will load or the tables won't align properly. Then other times, it works fine. It's pretty random.

I thought it was my home router, but it did it on other routers I've brought it on.

I've searched online for the issue and found zero results. Anyone have any suggestions?

It does it with all of them. I've been using Chrome because it reloads the quickest and easiest.

ive had this problem at work before but just with firefox.

never did find anything that worked but did read an article or two that said it was due to the anti virus people were runing....AVG or ALWIL.

I've seen this more of late. Because web pages are becoming more graphical they need a stronger vid processor with sufficient memory. This problem is usually caused by either shared memory (vid processor shares limited system memory) or by the processor itself. Since most netbooks have at least the Intel 4500 vid chipset it is likely because you have 1 gig of system mem and sucking dick trying to find resources.

This can be a cumulative issue where it builds up to being more of a problem. This is because the more shit you have running at the bottom right of your screen the less mem you have and thus the HD is having to act as RAM.

Upgrade your mem to at least 2 gig and I bet you no longer have a problem.

This actually makes sense. "smaller" websites seem to load with no issue at all.
