Do you have voices at all?

I don't normally hear voices but some people do. I just woke up with the chant of "waterboard" over and over in my head, and yes for those gals asking, I am still single.

my 7 year old keeps telling me the voices in his head tell him to do bad things. He says this after he gets in trouble. Am I to believe him? Is my kid psycho or is he trying to get out of punishment?

He also tells me he sees visions. Shit. He might be psycho.

at brief periods of time in my life i had a few not so good ones

1. while driving alone or with the family a voice would tell me to just whip the steering wheel all the way to the left or right while driving in the 70mph range. the result was to see how many times i could get the car to flip without getting me or anyone else in the car hurt

2. on vacation in Ocean City Md we were on the 12th or 17th floor and it had a patio/balcony. something was telling me to scale the railing and when I get near the ground to roll with the fall. again with the result of not getting hurt

i was an adventurous kid, climbing trees, venturing into burned out houses and abandoned train stations. played alot of sports too. not sure if that was part of what lead to these thoughts

my Dad told me the same thing. we lived on the top 4th floor apartment and we were putting down a new roof. my Dad said he had voices telling him to jump off the roof

I hear voices that aren't mine when I'm trying to sleep. Sometimes it's nonsensical stuff, other times it's very freaky.

Then I take my meds and stab my eardrums with q-tips and the voices go away...
