For me its baseball. I do follow the other major sports, but when it comes down to discussions, arguements Baseball tops them all. I believe hardcore baseball fans can bring up stats like clockwork. Other sports have them, but in the blink of an eye we know how many HR Mantle hit in 61, What Koufax's record was in '66 etc.

The discussion about the HoF itself makes for great debate

I agree 100%. Even here in Pittsburgh, I would rather talk about the hapless Pirates than Pens or Steelers. Many consider this crazy.

The best league from the best sport, period. I work with a Prody Mick and I like talking about this with him. Sadly he's a United supporter but it is still a lot of fun. No other sport has fans that come close to Football fans. They are the most knowledgeable and passionate about his (and sometimes her) team.
