Anyone have any thoughts on the old Oregon Trail computer game where you could hunt for animals and only bring a certain amount of food back to the wagon.
Then you could caulk the wagon or hire an indian to help...
The best was the part that you could die of a broken arm... this game is awesome and is a staple of my youth.. anyone?

i remember naming the characters after people i hate and try to kill them all.
And did anyone else actually read what was going on or did you just hit enter until you reached a river or got to hunt.

I always ended up with Chylamidia or some weird ass disease before I made it to the Snake River and would die, but, Oh those buffalo, so much fun to hunt..

Oregon trail is a staple of any child of the 80's Apple IIe computing days. It rocked, I was always the banker so I had the most loot.

I used to play that on my Commadore 64. I haven't given it a thought 15years before now. That was a great game for it's day.
Chylamidia's a STD. Just how were you playing the game?

Oregon trail brings back so many memories of my very first computer class in school. I remember you had to constantly pay money to repair a wagon wheel. I wonder if there's a verson of it for the computer now?
