Toppings or sauces?

When i get a sandwich I always choose one with alot of toppings. Then I always need some sauces on it too. whats better? Toppings? Sauces?

Its hard to compare the two as one accompanies the other.
Use great fresh toppings, then use a sauce that will compliment the whole package.

I like to be able to taste the food I'm eating, not the matter that the sauce is put on just to eat it.

I agree with Patient Zero on this one. Sometimes the toppings make the sandwich and sometimes it's the sauce. Most of the time, for me, I need everything to work together to make the sandwich have the best flavor it can.
