I had an answering machine that would immediately answer all blocked calls at first ring. It was the greatest until a lighting storm fried it. plus having an unlisted number I get very few solicitation calls

I know three people that call me that have private numbers, my landlord, a guy a work with and a girl I know. It's always a surprise when I answer the call.

I don't get "private" calls, maybe I haven't had this new phone number long enough? It's been over 2 years. I do try to be careful who I give it out to, especially companies.
