I work with this guy that has a cock eye, and it always makes me feel awkward talking to him because I do not know which eye to look at. It sometimes seems like he is talking to someone behind me and I don't like it. But what can you do? My friend was telling me he used to work somewhere and the boss was a woman with a cockeye and she would always yell at the workers and say "look at me when I'm talking to you!"

In my experience I try to stare both of my eyes at whichever ONE eye is looking most at me. I figure if one eye is aimed at a tree on the left, thats probably not the one looking in my direction. Or I look at the space between their eyes and fake it.
