Some site today reported that TMZ will soon launch a sports-only related website called TMZsports.com. It will report in the vein of TMZ, but be about athletes instead of entertainers.

Do you think this is a good thing or a bad thing?

its a major topic on every sports show around the country. but you are right. we need more threads with clips from Jimmy Kimmel, that'll get the people caring.

Don't be sore, mr. mod. We all need internet jokesters calling national radio shows with unoriginal funnies also.

Most of the sports news these days isn't much different from TMZ anyway.

If they are reporting sports news, i can see why other sports shows are talking about it. TMZ has a large audience, and will take away a good chunk of bandwidth. ESPN is garbage nowadays, so this could be something fresh.

I think the question is that it won't really be sports news. It will be sensational, entertainment stories that has reached a pinnacle with Tiger. Now there will even more stories about players personal lives when I personally don't really care.

While I never miss the tv show. The bloat thats on the website keeps me away. I'm guessing the new site will have it also.
