I couldn't see very well, it was dark and the bushes I was hiding behind were obscuring my view.

I've only had two.

Both were issued to me by employers, not purchased.

I don't have a digital camera either. Never have.

You had a car with a digital dash 16 years before your first TV? And your first car was analog?

The car had a digital dash (it was the 80's, it looked like KITT) and it was 16 years before my first digital TV (I took that to mean HDTV). And my first car was an ancient chev 1/2 truck that was such a stripped down/basic model it didn't even have a radio in it, still had a carburetor, no computer chips or emission controls; the "analog" comment was my attempt to be pithy.

Ah... Forgot about the digital part.

First camera: Nikon Coolpix 950, around 2003 (used)
First watch: A Casio, sometime around 1980. My dad said it did everything but wipe your ass. My brother unfolded the two foot long instructions and said "That's what this is for".
First calculator: A Texas Instruments brick in the late 70's or so (with red LED readout).

Man alive, I remember those Chevy Baretta's. A neighbor of mine had one and always used to love getting in the car for rides cause of the dash.

Since DVD's are technically Digital Video Disc's (or Digital Versatille Disc)...my first DVD player was bought in 1998. I remember being wowed that I could jump right to scenes in a movie and not listen to something that sounded like a jet plane warming up.

I remember when I got my first digital watch, back in the late 70's and being so amazed and proud of it as a kid.
I felt it was the pinnacle of high tech. It was a Timex. After that digital took off and became common place.
I am 44 years old though.

I got my first digital watch for my 8th birthday in 1986. It was a huge deal cause you could not get them in East Germany, my parents brought it back from Poland or the Czech Republic.
It was a pink watch and I had it for 2 weeks before my best friend stole it from me during gym class cause I took it off in the changing room before class.

My first digital camera was a Canon powershot probably not even before 2003, because I used to just use my film slr

never had an ipod and the closest I am to having an mp3 player is my portable nexus xm unit

This scene from Pulp Fiction flashed into my mind.
