View Full Version : Where Would You Like To Live?
GregoryJoseph

If money (and a job) wasn't an object and could live anywhere in the United States (or the world, I guess) where would you choose?
Obviously you'd want the kind of climate you prefer, but what else do you need?
Do you prefer a big city or a small town? Do you need culture or is scenery more important?
Mountains or an ocean?
Lakes and streams or skyscrapers?

I think this question has come up before.
Either way, I would live in San Diego.

Austin but only for a few years before being away from NY would bother me.
GregoryJoseph

I would live in San Diego.
It's the absolute PERFECT climate, but I don't know if there's enough of what I'm into there.
I like mountains and streams and lakes far more than the ocean, and I also like having a bit of peace and quiet.
A small town suits me much better than a large city.

Somewhere in western Montana.....Livingston or Bozeman area. Another place I would like to live is northern Minnesota by Walker. We spend a lot of time up there because Ryan's family is from there.
I need a place to relax and be able to surround myself with nature and clean air. Plus my son just loves it up north. I would love to be able to move him up there. He asks every time we go.
Big cities excite me, but there's no way I could ever live in one. I like my itty bitty Minnesota towns. The trees, the lakes, the wildlife....all of it.

Look at the ocean.
Turn around.
See mountains, go to the rivers and lakes that exist within them.
That is what I would love.

I like the ocean, an urban environment, all four seasons.
I'm pretty damn happy where I am. Maybe I would move to Paris or Tokyo to experience something different, but I wouldn't move to a mountain town or a Caribbean island. I'd go nuts.

It's a pretty major part, to be honest.
I DESPISE rain and the cold.
I love sunshine and mild temps, which is why I say San Diego is the ideal climate.
If I could find somewhere with similar weather but also with mountains, lakes, and streams I'd be set.
