Trying it out now as I read the board. So far so good. Only thing missing so far is extensions...

Firefox is a good browser but it constantly freezes on my mac. I prefer using Safari mostly because of mobile me and how the bookmarks synch up with my iPhone and that stuff.

Till now, the only thing available was Chromium, which was from the same code base but not Chrome.
I've been using Chrome for the last day to get a feel for it and I'm really liking it. Everything is loading nice and quick, and the only sites I've need to switch to another browser to use were the ones where I needed to load a Java app.

Seems to have a lot of missing plug-ins (or whatever the hell you call them) on this site in particular. I do like how it automatically groups your similar tabs together.

I have no plug-ins/extensions/whatever in Chrome, but the pages load fast and doesn't beach ball like firefox. I've been using it happily as my main browser for two days now.

What do you mean 'beach ball'?

When an app hangs on OSX, you get a spinning multi-colored wheel that has been nicknamed the beachball, so when you are waiting on an app and that wheel is spinning, it's called beachballing.

Oh yeah I've seen that. I figured it was Apple's version of the hourglass. I get it the worst when I adjust my Netflix queue.

Unfortunately for Mac users Chrome is missing one small feature..

One thing I don't like about Chrome is that you can't use the two finger pinch to zoom in and zoom out like you can with safari.

I wasn't too impressed with it. I'd just stick with what you're currently using. I assure you Chrome won't be an improvement.
