Are you thankful for this year?

- or -

Do you just wanna get the damn year done, and look ahead?

All the years are pretty much the same to me these days.

Spent the year in the corporate restructuring cross-hairs.

Still here, but still in the cross-hairs. Very stressful year.

So now I'm taking steps to move out of the line of sight. Unfortunately, that means new job, new responsibilities, whole new set of stress, but hopefully more security.

In some ways tremendously grateful. There were some events that reminded me about the love in my family.

On others I'll be thrilled to put this year behind me as it was incredibly stressful and nearly pushed me over the edge into Four Winds territory.

I'm mostly grateful, but also miserable.

I have a wonderful gal now, my neice was born and she is the be absolute best.

But, I lost my job and had a lot of family issues this year causing probs.

I am more happy then angry/sad.

nothing good came out of it, but that's like most years... except for this year I lost my job in addition to it.
Regardless, I wish the years would not go buy that fast. And I am still grateful to have a great son and some wonderful friends.

It was not bad. Struggle to find a job sucks and that my dollar does not stretch as far, sucks. But, I have wonderful family and friends, and I did not end up as an inpatient on the psych unit.

i can't vote. I am undecided how to view 2009. the beginning of the year had its ups and downs. This summer was fantastic for camping and meeting new people. My son has improved so much from last year. We struggled with finances for a long time and continue to.

I have had better years, but this hasn't been the worst. I am a lucky woman that has a great family who is so supportive. I also have some pretty great friends too.

A few good things happened - daughter got married, son just got accepted to KU.
A few expensive things - see above plus sucky economy.
Healthy year and at least none of my family members died this year.
Still employed. Got a great wife.
Maybe it was a pretty good year after all.
I don't like to emote in general.
meh.
