Apparently this is a new show in England starring Will Arnett, David Cross and Spike Jonze.
Looks promising.

It seemingly has a ton of potential, but it all depends on where they go from here and character development. I love Cross and Arnett, so that's a really good starting point and the writing doesn't look half bad. Granted it was a very small segment.
Any way to get this program in the states outside of online?

Allow the UK to take us over again, changeover our broadcasts to BBC stuff, and watch.

I am bumping this because Channel 4 UK was reportedly "in talks with" a US cable channel to broadcast in the USA.
After doing some research, I found a couple of YouTube clips of the show, but they were removed due to violations of copyright by "Independent Film Channel".
I am thinking that this show will not only be broadcast in the UK as originally planned, but will be shown on IFC as well.
Also, if you haven't seen it yet, you can get the torrent file of the Pilot Episode.

There needs to be a thread about this here.
New TV show starting October 1 on IFC. Show looks hysterical.

Created, written by, and starring David Cross (Arrested Development, Mr. Show), The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret follows the awkward misadventures of an American office temp and convenient liar named Todd Margaret (David Cross). Margaret bluffs his way into a senior sales position heading up the London office for the new energy drink Thunder Muscle. Along the way Cross’ out-of-control farce reaches epic proportions when his character’s gaffes and misfortunes wreak havoc on the city of London. His antics are often fueled by Dave, played by Blake Harrison (The Inbetweeners), his mysteriously devious and sometimes useless assistant. Complicating matters are Todd’s misplaced attempts to win the affection of Alice, played by Sharon Horgan (Pulling), his uninterested UK love interest. The series also features guest stars Will Arnett (Arrested Development, Running Wilde) as Todd’s hard-ass, foul-mouthed boss, and Amber Tamblyn (Joan of Arcadia, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) as Todd’s American “girlfriend.” Janeane Garofalo (24, Reality Bites) and Russ Tamblyn (West Side Story, Peyton Place) also make special appearances.
The show's opening theme song "Life is Sweet" and incidental music throughout the series was written and recorded by Johnny Marr (The Smiths, Modest Mouse, The Cribs).
"The cool thing about Todd Margaret is that, while a straight ahead comedy show, it tells a story that has a beginning and an end. Every episode starts the next morning after the previous episode so that the sense of inescapable impending doom is heightened exponentially with each subsequent show," said David Cross. "There's no escape."
Pilot episode is already online via IFC and Hulu.

WOW. This show FAR exceeded any expectations I had. In fact, I wasn't even fully on-board until the energy drink bit. It's like Cross makes the audience pay him to act like comedy monkey but the only form of payment he'll take is pity and misery. Once you've put enough misery coins into the show he launches into the funniest thing you've ever seen in a sitcom. Hard to catch your breath laughter in this episode.

Season finale is tonight.
If you need to catch up, IFC is playing the whole series starting at 7:35p est.
EDIT: IFC sent out a tweet with the wrong time, so I just fixed it.

I know I WANT to like it, but I'm feeling a bit disappointed. The gag of the liar is getting a bit tired. It's just becoming too obvious.
I'll stick with it because I've already commited, but I'm a little let down.

I haven't watched IFC since they added commercials, but this show may bring me back...maybe. I'll probably end up waiting for a Blu-ray release.
Speaking of Blu-ray, I'm surprised I haven't heard any news on season 1 getting a BD/DVD release.
I'd buy it.

Why does everybody forget Carrie? I think Armisen is trying to be funny, and he isn't sure how it's going to work out, but he's going to give it a shot and see. Cross is a guy saying to himself "Holy shit I'm funny and I'm about to do you assholes a favor." I'm going through Arrested Development right now and I did Mr Show not to long ago. And while he's essential to Mr Show I'm shocked at how much stuff he recycles and how one note he can be, Bob was the gem on Mr Show. I flat out would love him to be cut out of Arrested Development, none of his shit fits. If you're comedy is entirely based in hate, you dont have very many places to go.
How about I illegally download both?
I dont think it matters either way, they get their check from IFC.

Series 2 starts this Friday at 10:30pm est on IFC.
I loved this show and just bought series one on DVD today. I'm a little nervous about IFC now. I gave up on this channel when they started adding commercials a little over a year ago, which was only a month after Todd Margaret ended. I came back in the summer for the final season of The Whitest Kids U'Know. Noticed that not only have commercials been added, but also, explicit language was bleeped. That was never the case in previous seasons on IFC.
It'll be interesting to see if Todd Margaret will be toned down for IFC.

I really wanted to love this show.
They re-aired the last season over the last few weeks, and I gave it another shot.
I somehow missed the first time that "Dave" was the guy pulling the strings. And I swore I watched every episode the first time.
At the end, I found myself wanting more.
I'm in for one more season, but with lowered expectations this time.

The series finale is tonight, but that wording may be a bit confusing since the show is UK based.
In the US, a series finale means the show is completely finished. Whereas a season finale means it's just done for the season and new episodes will come out the following season.
In the UK, TV shows are labelled as series, so, a series finale doesn't necessarily mean a nail in the coffin for that show.
I don't know how tonight's show ends and haven't heard if there'll be a 3rd series/season, but I'm hoping this won't be the last we see of Todd Margaret.

The season started crappy (for me), but it's turned around.

From what Cross has said, this is it. The show has a definite story, and once that's told, it's over.
