Let's do this!

Okay.... I think it was a great premise for a series. (sorry, STC-Dub)
The suit, it's ever growing list of powers, and the fact that Mr. Hinkley lost the suit's instruction manual (twice!) had tons of potential. Frankly, I am surprised that this show hasn't been reimagined. A young teacher who found the suit in this day and age also has tons of potential. He could fight "the war on terror" and whatnot.

The theme song. Still great.

I am convinced that the "Maxwell" character (played by Robert Culp) was the inspiration for the "Stan Smith" character on American Dad. They are identical in many many ways. Think about it.

Connie Sellecca was bonerific. And, her role was just small and pointless enough that Megan Fox could handle it.

Please join me next week, when we will be discussing BUCK ROGERS, and the lovely Erin Grey.

Well, it did give us this:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/caoYdiq3kak&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/caoYdiq3kak&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

My mom has told me that I loved this show when I was really, really young, though I don't really remember anything about it besides the theme song (which I had on wax, baby).

I liked this show and remember after Reagan was shot, they briefly changed the character's name from "Hinckley" to "Hanley".

I love that bit. It was so random and had almost nothing to do with the episode and I don't think anyone even made any direct reference to it on the show.

I bought season 1+2+3 and the show does not hold the test of time, however a remake could be great

Remember when Sam Malone was called Sam bin Laden?

Outside of Jerry rightfully looking disgusted as he hears it.

Mainly I love how much George loves it.

This guy makes a great fucking point! That part about Laerfuxin small Klee is pure genius. I'm totally gonna click the link in his sig to hopefully gain some more insight through his dissertations on short-lived 1980's American television shows. I recommend you do the same.

EDIT: ahh boooo! Where did the link go? Damn you mods for stifling to free exchange of ideas.

My roommate and I did that for our answering machine in freshman year dorms.

We thought it was clever.

Upon review, it probably wasn't.

First of all, I've seen plenty of people quoting spam and not get a curt warning like that. Second, there was no spam in anything I quoted, only nonsensical ramblings on a par with Jerry from Mars, as should have been clear from my post. Any spam was in the signature which I did not, and could not, quote. Once you deleted the original post, my quote would not have been promoting or rewarding any spam. My complaint of the deletion was obviously in jest. I try and keep my nose clean around here and follow the rules and feel I was reprimanded unjustly.

Was it before February 13, 1997? If not, then it's literally the opposite of clever.
