My tree last year, a Concolor Fir (White Fir) (http://www.christmastree.org/trees/concolor.cfm). It was my first. It was really really nice, last a LONG time, no needle loss, but not much of the Xmas tree smell though........

I used to only buy real trees, but two of my dogs are dangerously allergic to them. I just started putting my silver tree up this afternoon. I spent the rest of the afternoon replacing dead bulbs. Ornaments will have to wait until tomorrow.

it was quite the production to put up the artificial tree. Tomorrow we will put up the real tree.

I haven't put up a tree for the past 15 years or so.

I usually just put a wreath on the door.

That's about as festive as I get.
