Clean install tool.

Has anyone tried this when performing a clean install (http://ninite.com/)? Supposedly you go to http://ninite.com/ and make your choices from a large selection of popular freeware and open source applications. It will then create an installer for you to download and run which installs all of the software you've chosen with their default settings and no added crapware.

Why didn't someone think of this years ago ?

Yeah, this is a good idea. I do wonder how well it works, but I don't see why it wouldn't.
