It's cliche I know but hey I'm a sentimental kinda guy.....
I always feel a bit down around thanksgiving because my mother had passed away around this time. When that happened it was very hard to think about what I was thankful for.
However since then life has slowly gotten better as the healing process continues.
This year I am extremely thankful for many things.
A) I am thankful that after 4 years of waiting I have finally been given life through my kidney transplant. Even though I never met my donor, I am eternally grateful. If there is a heaven I hope to be able to meet him someday and thank him.
B) I am very thankful that I am getting the oppurtunities now to continue my education and be able to start my professional life. With any luck It'll only take me two years to complete my Bachelor's and find a job.
C) Finally I am thankful for being able to find such wonderful friends through this website. I have never really found a more caring bunch of people on this site. I think the MPW threads speak for themselves. I can't wait to meet all of you at the Xmas parties this year.
Well what say you Ronfez.net ?

God and sweet baby Jesus
I am grateful in my life that everything seems to always turn out. Our family has been faced with a lot of unexpected problems, but in the end they always turn out and make us stronger. I couldn't ask for a better gift.
This year I am super thankful for another trip out east to meet up with all you wonderful people.

All of the wonderful gifts bestowed upon me each and every day - friendship, love, clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, shelter from the elements, plenty of food, and the gift of life and all of the wonders it brings.

Friends, family, health. Health is one easy taken for granted. I try to be grateful every day that I can walk, breathe easily, and am not in pain.

That just makes all you are thankful for bearable, I look at it as a tool of happiness.

After the usual thankful for a healthy and happy family and friends and a secure position in life with my job and money in the bank and a reasonably healthy body, I am thankful for having this board to express myself and even though some of you think I am creepy or whatever, knowing that you are all here does bring me happiness.
So, Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

It looks like Chriss Tanley's Thanksgiving may not have been any better than mine. Today's show is already up on Audible. If he's the one who posted it, then he must not be too drunk to upload it.

My dog/best friend died, money has become tight, my health has went down the shitter and for the first time in awhile I've felt like I was sick and just bottoming out sooner than later.
But I am so thankful for ffamily, friends, my medicine who was gracious enough to cover me for for the eyar (unheard of in pharmacuticals, right?, I have a job that keeps me even considering I've been out a lot because of my health, my dentist for helping me fill a cavity for a fraction of the price because I don't have insurance, my family again, all the geat music that has come out this year that has made me have some hope, a roof over my head, a warm bed, people that love me, so much to be thankful for. I amk truly blessed.
And booze. Can't forget the hooch.
