I have an idea for pie ingredients but do not know how this will work, so anyone who makes pies let me know.
I'm thinking of taking a graham cracker pie crust and putting some chocolate chips in the bottom. Then, somehow mix together pumpkin and sweet potato and custard or tapioca and cinnimon and put it together and fill the shell up and bake it. Would it be good?
How would the filling mix and bind? It just popped into my head but I imagine it being good. Give me suggestions on how to make it work.

Look over these recipes and then formulate your own (or follow one if it looks good to you).

Eh tapioca and pumpkin sounds like jizz. Put me down for a half dozen.

In order for it to set up when baking you would need to add some eggs. Thats what causes the filling to thicken when baked.

Okay, so I mix the pumpkin, sweet potato, eggs and what do you think is better, custard or tapioca? How much and what about sugar? I could even put cinnimon and a little clove and raisins right?

Baking is a science. This is going to fail monumentally.

just try it. you never know until you do. Just make sure to try it out today if you are planning on using it for tomorrow. cause if it fails you still have time to run out and buy a pie.

I would add in a can of Eagle Brand condensed milk. That adds sweetness and also a creamier texture. Then you can skip the custard.

Yep <@> = eye

Therefore <@>dea is eyedea or idea

The pie ended up being made by my niece and it came out amazing. It was her idea, and she topped the pie with pecan halves. Came really good, and the chocolate bottom was thick and you had to cleave the knife through it and it was like a chocolate bar with pie on top. Really cool.
