Except less evil, for some reason. I'm not sure why.

They aim higher than that

They aim higher than that
But they've specifically said that this OS is for netbooks.

Because they've very carefully bred that into their brand... I'm not saying they're evil, just that they "get away" with a lot compared to Microsoft, as well they should.
They aim higher than that
They had better not if they don't want an antitrust suit at their door... they're already on thin ice, expanding into real desktops would probably put it over the edge. The idea behind an antitrust would be that they're trying to own entry into the internet, coming out with a phone OS a netbook OS and a desktop OS would look like they're moving towards that.

I see people talking about how evil MS and Google are, don't bad of a coont Apple is. People have been blindly drinking the rotten nectar from them balls for many years. Suckers.
I think the OS has it's possibilities. Could be built into tv sets and stuff.

Give it time.
I think it's mainly that their programs are garbage.
And they also can point the finger and MS as evil. If there were no MS, google would be the evil one.

MS. And not really garbage, but unreliable.

MS still can't get their phone OS right, at least Google did that. Google is less evil because they don't charge $200 for an OS that immediately needs patching or dump a shitty OS on customers while continuing to sell XP for $150. I hope Google and Linux join forces and rape MS in their gaping hole.

Windows Mobile is hemorrhaging market share; it plummeted about 30% last quarter. Apple and Blackberry are ripping them a new one.
As an iPhone owner, though, I am hoping that Android works out and challenges Apple.

Dunno.....not really a fan of microsoft but also can't be to critical of them in my personal use. My PC's are stable, the apps (mainly office 2007) are stable.

I do use Windows the OS, most everything else like Open Office is free and compilable.

I'm all for OS choices even if I end up using Windows more often than not. At the very least nice ideas that come out of other OS will be stolen and incorporated into Windows.
