Some say people don't change, but I know that's not true.

I've known a few people who have completely overhauled themselves, to the point where they even looked differently after their transformation.

I'm not talking weight loss or gain or anything like that.

They just seem like completely different people in every way - physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Have you (or anyone you know) ever done a complete 180 in your life and changed who you were? Not what you were doing, but the core essence of yourself.

Do you think it's possible to remain close to someone who goes through such a transformation?

I am a completely different person that I was 10 years ago. My politics, my music choices, my friends (well, a lot of them grew with me as well). 19 year old D.J. would fucking hate me. I'm a much calmer, more centered person now.

Not really. Alot of friends like to say Im the same asshole I was 20 years ago.

Honestly, When I was a teenager I had the bad habit of caring what people thought and doing what I could to try and please them. When I was 16 I changed my philosophy to "fuck everybody". And Ive been happy ever since. I dont see myself changing much at all in the future either.
