I know everyone is playing MW2 now, but don't forget about this (poorly timed) sequel. The first one was visually amazing and a lot of fun. I think it is a more "mature" game compared to other stuff out there. If you don't like shooting people in airports, this might be for you.

The early reviews are very good.

I like shooting people in airports and I think I'd like this game.

This will have to wait until next year. Too many games out right now that have drained my wallet. I kinda liked the first one but found the combat horribly repetitive. I'm hoping they have improved it a bit.

My main problem with the title also. The rating so far look like they resolved that. (http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/assassinscreed2?tag=topslot;title;1) But it is a next year title for me.

I picked this up when MW2 was lagging like a bitch on friday. It's sooooo good. Much better than the first. Less repetition, still lots of free running and stabbing. I spent way too much time on this this weekend.

So I ended up beating this game, and it was the first game that I basically did nothing but play for two days in years. It was a great game, but I was pretty linear through the game. I went back after I beat it trying to beat the side missions and I really wish I had done them while I was trying to beat the game, as it would have made it much easier.

My friend told me about all the different shit you can do in this game and it sounded pretty great. I'm still playing the first one (actually I haven't touched it in about a year) so I'll have to get back into that one and beat it so I can pick this one up.

The first one is steaming pile of diseased horseshit compared to 2 unless you like doing the same 4 things over and over again for 20 hours.

The first DLC is being released this week. It's one of the two segments that were obviously and rather roughly pulled out of the game.

I know, but I just don't feel right going to the next one being half way through the first one. Plus while I wait it will hopefully drop in price!

Woo-hoo!

I'm already growing tired of Borderlands. That's not a good sign.

I really enjoyed the first game..thought it was different and fun to play..but this one..I LOVE IT...I wish there was more...I have been playing it for a month and just love it...So much fun to play and I am going to replay the story line again.

Wonder what others thought of the ending..and the Glyph video....

Assassin's creed Brotherhood due in November...can't wait

I felt that it was kind of extraneous. For some reason they needed a twist and that was what they came up with. The game works, and makes sense without it. I would be perfectly fine with just the Templars v. Assassins game, and having them chase the ambiguous object of unlimited power. Finding out what the object is and where it came from seems like the sort of thing that is irrelevant to the game.

I understand what you are saying, but I kind of like the whole back story..the story behind the story. I like that you had the goal of the game, a goal in the game (Glyphs), and then the goal outside of the game. I kind of like that it is more then just good vs bad running around for a piece of power. Also like the whole tie in with history.
As long as they sort of close it up in the 3rd game, not just say fuck it and not connect it which I think they will.

Also just found it sort of disappointing with the last, main "bad guy", it was sort of nothing...fairly easy. Not like the first game where you had to fight fight fight. Also some of the missions in the game were just a walk and meet, really do nothing. More for the story line then game play.

Will be replaying it, I thought you could play certain sequences over but can't, which sort of sucks.
