When people first meet you, what impression do they get? What's your demeanor? Are you friendly and inviting and find that people warm up to you quickly, or are you more standoffish?

No. Usually people don't like me at first, I'm pretty closed off. But once people get to know me, we usually get along pretty well, as long as they have the same type of humor as me.

It really depends on how I read you. I can totally blow you off or be a very friendly person. When nervous though I can kind of blow it because I get inappropriate (long story). Or I can be very reserved and stand-offish.

Do you think people get an accurate depiction of your personality when they first meet you?

In the work environment no, that was a frequent complaint of my coworkers in that I was all business and not very open or chatty. In casual settings it would depend on if I like you or not.

People usually warm up to me quickly, but there are a few exceptions. For instance... If I'm around a bunch of people who know me, I sometimes put on a "character" that is pompous and "Mr. Can't Lose" (sarcastically). I sometimes forget that there is someone new there, and they think I actually think I'm full of myself. A few have told me later, "you aren't at all the jerk I first thought you were." I don't think it's happened in quite a few years, though.

I hope people think I am friendly. I am open to most people. I can get along with most anyone. People think I am goofy, and I don't hide my goofiness either.

What people don't realize is that I can be really bitchy too. But I have to know you pretty well before you see my bitchiness.

I have the same thing with my temper. I'm a very easy going guy. It takes a LOT to get me really pissed off. When I finally do get pissed, I've actually frightened people that I've known for years. I once went off on a former boss. He didn't say a word about if for several months. Then one day, he told a coworker of mine, "You REALLY don't want to piss him off."

Im pretty friendly but Im definitely reading you to see what youre about. After about 10 minutes of talking to you Ill know if youre a jerk off or not. And once thats decided, you may as well etch it in stone because Im never wrong when reading someone.

Aura's that you project is a bullshit emotive term that does not really exist. First impressions are hit or miss in terms of telling you who someone really is, sometimes they are accurate, and many, MANY times they are not.

I find that people who think they know someone within five minutes of meeting them are just conceited jerkoffs who think they're "I've seen it all" socializing veterans, and therefore, full of shit.

You know how many people warm up to me when I'm in a viciously bad mood? More than I fucking want, because I'm pissed off at the time and wanna be left alone. If I were projecting that bad mood in a bad-mood aura like some sort of neon sign that evidently only some people can pick up on like mutts do with that dog whistle, people would shriek and run away. Fortunately, Auras are bullshit and don't project jack and Shit. Your actions are often mistaken for auras, maybe because both start with an "A".

Your mindset has a strong impact on your actions, and yours alone- whether you talk to the pretty blonde or talk to your glass- unless you go out of your way to vocalize your mindset, there is no "aura" getting pushed onto others that influences them in any way possible. If there were auras, then how come Bin Laden is so beloved in Egypt? Projects a good aura on people? Whatever happened to Hitler's aura? He was popular before he was full-out dictator. Just the Germans themselves? BS.

I have only truly seen one person projecting what I would call an aura.
I could see rainbows around her as she walked through a crowd of thugs to the car.
But, I was tripping, so it might not have been an aura.
Probably just my brain bleeding.
