Favorite Console/PC Tactical games

So I have been playing Shining Force 3 for Saturn via Emulator, and boy did I miss this series. I used to own this game, but I sold it recently for 90 bucks.

The Shining series is one of my fav tactical rpg game series. They have mostly sucked since the GBA version of Shining Force came out though...

I used to like Warsong for Sega Genesis also. Totally kicked ass.

Vay for Sega CD was a good one.

Ogre Battle was great too.


And of course, the original Command & Conquer games were awesome.

loved the command and conquer games. i was hopelessly addicted to red alert for a long time. i picked up a bundle with a bunch of the early games and the expansion packs.

I've always been so terrible at those type of games. I'm such an OCD retard that I have to mess with everything to beat each level in the most efficient way possible, yet I'm so lazy/frustrated that I give up after 2 or 3 tries.

Advance Wars for GBA/DS aren't bad.

Vandal Hearts series for playstation
Starcraft for PC
Warcraft II for PC, too.
Shining Force for Sega

Could Counter-Strike count as tactical? Because that game required some serious technique to play effectively [without lol-hax].

While I hated the storyline, Final Fantasy: Tactics was probably the hardest tactical game I ever played on a console, so kudos for that.

There's plenty of other RTS series I've enjoyed, but who the hell wants a list?
