We're not talking about family friendly places or houses that respectable people spend a week or two at during the summer months, this show is about houses that have as many people crammed in them as possible (and then some) for 3 or 4 months who are there to party as much as possible. Those places have floors so sticky from spilt beer that ever taking your shoes off is not an option, bathrooms that have 10 people using them and no one cleaning them all summer, backyards filled with empty beer cups and cans, and front porches with about the same thing.

Mojo, what kind of NJ shore houses have you been to that make this MTV set look like a dump? We're not talking about family friendly places or houses that respectable people spend a week or two at during the summer months, this show is about houses that have as many people crammed in them as possible (and then some) for 3 or 4 months who are there to party as much as possible. Those places have floors so sticky from spilt beer that ever taking your shoes off is not an option, bathrooms that have 10 people using them and no one cleaning them all summer, backyards filled with empty beer cups and cans, and front porches with about the same thing.

This MTV house is a paradise compared to what most kids are living in down there. A hot tub on the roof overlooking the boardwalk? This is high class living.

I agree, Ive had alot of shore houses and none of them could compete with that one. Dont get me wrong, the houses are here, but they either dont rent to anyone but families or are ridiculously high priced. A hot tub on the roof? Never seen it.

A summer rental in the real world where they are would be fairly filthy. Trust me, that place is virtually immaculate. And it's all decorated with an MTV set dressers touch so it's TV messy. NO house would have that shit up on the roof, or all those stupid signs on the walls. It's all fake like a fucking TGIFridays. There's not even a hole in the wall. Not saying there aren't decent places to stay, but these meatheads don't get those.

They have all new appliances including a 6 burner gas stove. A rental would have one of those small apartment sized electric 4 burners you see in Best Buy and wonder who the fuck buys that brand new. And it would be covered with burn marks and old mac & cheese. The shower would be moldy. The shitty furniture that's on the roof would be the furniture in the house.

Maybe if you ever lived in, or at least been to, the actual town that it's filmed in and seen MTV roll through and wave it's dick around and annoy the fuck out of the locals more than once, then you could tell people what it's like. But you haven't.

Then I'm glad I've never been a Jersey shore house because just compared to the beach houses I've even just been to where you've got a huge group of people pitching in to afford it that place looks like it's made of cancer and filth. it depends though. When they did the early real worlds, they didnt really know at that time to get cheaper places. Also, and this is kinda sad, that house for as long as they have it in Seaside is prob about the same amount as one of those big places they get in some other area for the same amount of time.
