I was watching Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern last night and he was at the Minnesota State Fair. What a fantastic event this looked like!

They basically had everything you could think of deep fried and on a stick.

What is the strangest thing you have tried at a state fair? Please tell.

Should I travel to the Minnesota State Fair next year? If so...who can I stay with?

Oh, Rich nothing compares to the State Fair of Texas. Schoolchildren come from all over the state. Even Oprah did a show from there this year!

The Corny Dogs are famous and they have deep fried bacon, twinkies, snickers and even this year, butter!

Plus they have the Texas/OU game and Big Tex. He's scary and he talks to you!
