Im in an elevator at least 4x per day and I know we're trained to just step in there as soon as the door opens, but wouldnt you notice the fact that its just a black hole and not an elevator?

Doesn't look like he just stepped into an empty elevator shaft.

According to The New York Times, the accident occurred at about 12:30 a.m. on November 8, when Fuchs became stuck on a freight elevator between the fourth and fifth floors. When he attempted to jump out of the stalled car, his jacket got caught and threw him back towards the elevator shaft, while another unidentified man in the car with him leaped safely to a fourth-floor hallway.

Sweet jesus, for the split second that dude was still alive how much do you think he hated his jacket? I get mad if my key gets stuck in the lock...if my jacket got caught and I plummeted to my death?? Id be insanely mad, then squashed.

Looks like he was a drummer for multiple bands.

The band !!! is going to have a tough time filling the drummer slot.
