I'm watching this abortion on Fox now with him and Alex Bornstein telling godawful jokes to canned laughter from the crowd, just pathetic. This man is not funny, at all.

I watched about 2 minutes into it before I had to turn it off. There's nobody more punchable on TV right now.

I saw a commercial for that last week and got a douche chill then.
Fox is probably just throwing money at this guy at this point, of course he's gonna take it all. You know how fickle the public is.
And really who needs integrity when you're balls deep in money?

Not funny, fast forwarded through most of it. I did enjoy the two Family Guys and American Dad. Cleveland show wasn't all that good though.

I'm not at all interested in any of his shows but I'd say he's a really talented voice actor. Maybe he should stick to that.

Watch any of the NFL pre-game shows. I guarentee you will revise this statement.

Bingo. I just walk by a TV this garbage might be on and want to shit right there on the carpet, let alone sitting down to watch an entire hour or two of it.

I did the same, good thing I recorded it. The two Family Guys were good. Cleveland is just unwatchable to me.
At least they tried something different with the variety show. Some day, maybe 50 years from now, it may be considered a camp classic (like Plan 9 from Outer Space).

I agree. The only one I can tolerate is NBC because of Costas and Dungy. The rest are 60minutes of ex-football players laughing at nothing.
Jimmy Johnson: "Howie, you look serious"
(Group laughter)
Howie Long: "OH YEAH! I'm serious. you're not!"
(More group laughter)
Dan Marino: "He's right!"
(More group laughter)

I actually like the guy, but yeah, there's a reason he's not a front of the camera person. But, the bit with "Edelweiss" was pretty damn good. Alex Borstein sold it fantastically.

I can't take NBC because of Olberman and Patrick. Dungy is afraid to call anyone out. Rodney is the only refreshing thing on that show.

did they do this thing in voices, or did they talk normally.
if they did it in voices, i'd have to say thats pretty talented, especially live.

I don't mind them so much, maybe because they're actual broadcasters and not ex-players? I used to like Dan Patrick's radio show too.
I find Dungy extremely insightful, but that may just be because I'm a Colts fan.

They did a lot of voices. Seth actually sang songs in voices and if he did it in 1 take, that's a real talent. Especially doing the "Bird is the Word" song. Alex Borstein did her Mary Matalin impression, then Matalin came out, they did a bit about that.
Overall it was your average Family Guy humor. Not bad, but certainly not great.

just finished watching it. that was 29 minutes and 52 seconds i'll never have back again.
i will have to say that his voice talent is impressive, as is her's as well.
and when they both talk normal, you can hear the characters in them.

I just watched this yesterday on my DVR and was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this. 2 weeks ago on South Park Cartman did a version of Poker Face. On this special they had a Marlee Matlin version of Poker Face. This special was probably taped a few weeks ago. Did the South Park guys have Cartman do his Poker Face to fuck with this special? If so even funnier than I originally thought.

as i get older i'm learning to avoid garbage like this. usually i watch and hate myself during every minute but i'm proud i stayed away from this awfulness
i wish i could have said the same for the cleveland show though, i'm still waiting to hear that the big joke was that they knew it wasn't funny and that they wanted to see how many people bought into it. honestly the worst show ever and the reason i wouldn't watch this new horrificness
