The weather is going to be nice this weekend so I'll take advantage and put up the christmas lights. Too early to start turning them on?

Where do you live, do you have lots of valuable stuff and when aren't you going to be home next?

Other then my puppy I live alone and recently am single again (and have been single during christmas before) and still plan on putting up the lights. They're festive as I listen to a bit of la la la la
don't turn them on until the day after thanksgiving.
Then that would be about a month ago.

End of November. Or, like many, just leave them up year-round.:wallbash:

They go up the weekend after Thanksgiving and stay lit till January 6th (Three King's Day). Then they come down ASAP so I'm not like the fuckstick a few houses up who leaves them up all year.

if the weather gets nice I'll put them up after Thanksgiving. Since my family is coming this year I will have to make it look all nice and holiday like.

I have to admit, Im like Clark Griswald when it comes to decorating my house for Xmas. Ill be out there 2 days after Thanksgiving putting them up. (The day after is a special day set aside by me and my friends for drinking, college football, table shuffleboard and brazilian strippers known as Brown Friday).
Once I get my basement rewired so I dont have too many things on one circuit itll probably get really ridiculous around here.

I try to have them up as soon as possible after ThanksGiving. Usually the second day after ThanksGiving, as my Family usually goes out for the sales. I generally get my Pops and Brother-in-Law to help, so it doesn't typically take too long.
