Wifi and browser are two very different things.

Wifi is the type of signal.

Browser is the application you use.

I will not be at home during the draft and will be able to watch on my phone. Also when they start having the thursday night games halfway through the season I will be able to watch while I'm ice fishing.

Make sure your SD card is mounted. When you plug the USB into the PC, a notice should appear on the notification bar. That is where you mount and unmount.

Go to the android market with your droid and download Astro file manager.

Connect the droid and mount it like hottub said.

Locate the song on your computer.

Put it into the drive associated with your droid.

Disconnect the droid.

Open astro and look for the sdcard folder.

Open the folder and it should be there.

Since then I've purchased 4 iPhones, 2 computers, several routers, and miscellaneous other items. Unfortunately, I'm really starting to have a philosophical issue with your company. It appears that more and more Apple is determining for it's consumers what content they should be able to receive. For instance, the blocking of Mark Fiore's comic app (due to being political satire) or blocking of what Apple considers to be porn.

I'm all for keeping porn out of kids hands. Heck - I'm all for ensuring that I don't have to see it unless I want to. But... that's what parental controls are for. Put these types of apps into categories and allow them to be blocked by their parents should they want to.

Apple's role isn't moral police - Apple's role is to design and produce really cool gadgets that do what the consumer wants them to do.

I worry that the Android model of letting you get apps from anywhere is going to end up in a clusterfuck of apps developed for different versions of the OS, on different phones, and is going to lead to a lot of garbage, and possibly malware/viruses.

So Steve Jobs is right. But at the same time, it's a paternalistic, restrictive mentality that will be harmful to the iPhone long term, I fear. I think a lot of developers are going to feel pressured to only develop for iPhone -- and the recent move to restrict the development tools they can use -- and if the Android market continues to grow, they might nto be willing to put up with the bullshit around developing for iPhone.

So my advice to Steve Jobs, not that he'd listen, is this: OK, the closed model is fine. But at the same time, you can't legislate morality if you do it. Check that the apps meet certain usability standards, check that they aren't malware, but beyond that, if I wanna develop a bukkake sim app for the iPhone, let me. Put it in a section of the App Store behind a beaded curtain, but let me have it.

I love my iPhone. I still believe it is the best "smartphone" on the market. But let's just say that I'm not marrying it yet. And I'm keeping an eye on how Android develops.

I believe the apps on the android market are checked out and have to be submitted for some type of approval, however rooting the phone opens you up to apps that may not be in the market. Or I believe you can turn off a safety on your phone and download apps from anywhere. So there are safeguards on place it all depends if you use them.

Yes, in order to d/l non-market apps, you have to go into settings and uncheck a box. My Droid isn't rooted but I can d/l non-market apps.

Its using the built-in media player, it's not flash. Flash is adobe and they a being pricks about releasing tech to mobile phones. They know a lot of video online uses their player so they have everyone by the balls.

It's a 3rd party that handles the insurance claim. Verizon will give you their site, where you fill out the needed info. If it's a broken phone, then you have 7 days after receiving the replacement to return it. If your phone is no longer something they sell, they send you the current version of that phone (or as close as possible).

I just got to compare a my rooted wifi tether versus JC's non-rooted pdanet tether. His dropped connection frequently. It was on long enough to maybe load a web page. Mine never dropped and was able to flawlessley stream xmro. We tethered to the same laptop for a just comparison.

It is pretty cool. I can go to toys r us and scan the upc of an optimus prime transformer. It will then search the web for the best deals. Not sure if it works for the Megatron though.

My oc program will OC on certain profiles. I can make it go to 125MHZ at sleep and 1.2Ghz when it need to be. You won't be able to change yours for a while, til someone makes an app for the specific lg. If they do.

You cannot see shit on that screen with the sun overhead. Second, it comes with an internal 8gb hard drive but the majority of apps don't know or can't look for that. They only look for microSD cards. It's kind of annoying. I'm using btunes, but I can't put any music on the internal memory. The on board music player can see it, but btunes cannot. Hopefully this is updated and fixed.

I've never had a problem with LG phones, but I fucking loooooooove this phone. It's hands down the best phone I've ever touched. I have Megan Fox fingers and it's not hard to type on it at all.

I'm also surprised at how much better this phone is than the Storm I had. I knew it would be a lot better, but I had no idea how fucking terrible blackberries really are until I got this phone.

I always wanted an iphone, but didn't want to leave verizon. Every phone I'd get, I'd have iphone envy. That is completely gone. There is no longer any part of me that wants an iphone.

The lite version ran out. I paid for it. It works well, I almost never use the regular keyboard anymore. The autocorrect has to be watched though, sometimes it autocorrects to weird words (Disaster instead of sister)

After drying it out and popping in a new battery it works perfectly fine, woo. I must have just fried the battery. I ended up ordering a stupid $35 OEM Battery directly from Verizon, but I ordered at 5pm yesterday and got it this morning, so it was totally worth it. Ordered 2 spares from Amazon at $8 a pop just in case (plus it would be nice to keep an extra fully charged battery in my purse just in case)

this has never happened to me, i'm running the old beautiful widgets before they were forced to change by htc though.
