Fuck sakes I'm getting old and boring.

I remember not that long ago when I'd be jazzed about new stereo equipment, skis, motorbikes etc. being introduced. This weekend I found myself excited by of all things a washer & dryer. Now granted they look pretty damn cool.....shiny graphite (aka brushed stainless steel), fancy controls button and knobs, more indicator lights then some planes and I'm sure they can be networked into my home LAN. But still, I'm not even technically 'middle aged' and I found myself saying "wow" and "neat" when shopping for these damned things.
