The video out on my PC is NOT working.
when i come to the pc and the tv is off , i turn it on and wiggle the mouse.
and the screen comes up.(i leave it on all the time)(most of the time)
a few times lately i wiggle the mouse and nothing comes up. So i have to hard restart it.
This time i restarted the pc and it went to the vista loading bar then after that nothing.
Now it wont even show boot or nothing but i can hear the vista starting music.
what the hell can i do?
i tooko the VC out and cleaned it a bit better already.

Hmm.
I've run into issues before when connecting computers to tv's where the signal drops out (usually from the pc) and doesn't show back up when I return. But you are now saying that the computer boots up to the vista loading bar, then nothing?
Do you hear the login music at all? Have you tried connecting a normal monitor to the video card to verify if it is just the connection to the tv, the tv, or the card?

Can you see the POST screen at all? If not, you likely need a new vid card. Double check all conections and if you have another monitor around test the computer using the spare just in case.

when i got home today it did the usual no screen so i rebooteed.
then that one time it got to the vista load bar then went black and i was waiting for the vista load screen (the ball) but nothing came up but i heard the sound.
So i hard reset, and nothing at all.
I will go ty to hook up to a VGA monitor here now
oh and no abnormal post.

How are you connecting this to your tv? HDMI? DVI?
I had an issue once with a Samsung 40 inch 1080p tv, the signal would just drop out occassionally, and i had to shut off/turn on the tv to get it to work. That ended up being a problem with the TV's mobo, and the replacement resolved that issues. I don't think that is your issue.
I think you issue is that the vid card isn't coming out of a "sleep" state when you walk away. Have you adjusted the power saving settings at all?
Are you running one or two vid cards? Have you installed Microsoft drivers or your manufacturers drivers?

But it's full-bodied aluminum so it must be good. When will people realise that those pieces of shite are just low end to mid range PCs running a visually pleasing OS. Mac is proof that people care more about form than function.

Don't know yet. I'm waiting for some long term use reviews. I LOVE Verizon but if the price point isn't working then I might get a Pre and Sprint's everything plan.

Never had that problem with my Mac...
While I have migrated to working on a mac, there is something awesome about putting together a home grown gaming system PC. Doing it yourself is always cheaper, and it's just awesome putting them together. I put together an AlienWare level machine for about 50% less then what they cost, and it's one of the best machines I have ever had... Next to my tricked out Macbook that is.

I like hookers! They do things good girls don't (or won't unless they're really drunk) :)

Give it 3 years and Apple will have exited the computing hardware business. They'll continue to develop and market their (over-hyped) OS but real focus will be on continuing to launch bleeding edge devices like the iphone.
