You're gonna want to call early for reservations. This is a well known theater district spot. West 44th between 5th and 6th.
I went once before a show. It was very good.

well if you think about it....Ron and OnA always say how shitty Times Square is all the time.
They say it so Touristy. And how often do the major tourist eat at "good" places, or places they dont know.
This is America.

new yorker is a negative term?
Yeah, right.
Telling someone they're a new yorker is like telling a chick she's hot.
Not an insult.

I know some people think it's kinda touristy...But honestly Spanky's BBQ on 43rd is REALLY good. They have all the beers from Heartland Brewery.
Give it a try too.

playwrights is nice, if not amazing. murphy's stout on tap, so that's a big plus. there are like 3-4 of them in the city, so it's a sort of mini-chain i guess. on 46th between 8th and 9th there's a nice tapas place, if you're into that. (meson sevilla) you wouldn't need a reservation. becco (lidia bastianich's 2nd, i think, restaurant) is amazing on the same block.
