The guy playing Santa Claus in the trailer is a buddy of mine. I'm psyched he made it into the trailer.

"Finally returns" implies people were waiting to see what he does next like he has a shot of making a not terrible film.
You did see Southland Tales, yes?

Everyone who attempts to do things that are not routine have the potential to make a good film.
Southland Tales was very ambitious but very disorganized.
It did not succeed because it attempted too much.
I can't say I'm a Kelly fan but I am open to his potential.

The script's been around for a while, so he'll be a gun for hire.

It was a twilight zone or something, so it's been around since then.

Saw the commercial tonight. Total rip off of a Twilight Zone. Guy is given a box, told he'll get something for pushing the button but someone he doesn't know will die. After he spends the episode deciding whether or not to push the button, he finally does, and the man returns to take the box back and "to give it to someone you don't know," implying the next person would push the button and kill him.

I dont know that you can say its a rip off, but Twilight Zone did an episode about the same short story that the movie is based on.

I just hope that Cameron Diaz dies whenever that button is pushed.
