View Full Version : Choose a beer (or two) for me.
:drunk:
My wife and I are going to be visiting the Brew City Grill & Brew House (http://www.brew-city.com/) in the near future.
I haven't tried too many "exotic" beers and I want to try something different. But when I check out their beer list,
the selection is just so large I have no idea where to start.
Does anyone have any recommendations ?

That goes without saying. There is nothing exotic about ANY Budweiser Products.

Whatever you do, don't drink the MOJO IPA unless you want your heart to immediately start bleeding.

Which Shipyard, there are several:
Shipyard - Pugsley’s Signature Series
Shipyard Export Ale
Shipyard Fuggles IPA
Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale
Shipyard Summer Ale
and a cask conditioned ale
Shipyard Old Thumper
What is everyone's thoughts on the cask conditioned ales ? Are they anything special ?

Left Hand- Milk Stout.
I didn't expect a place in the east to have Left Hand.
I'd go with a Ayinger--Alt or maybe the Celebrator if you're looking for a darker, sweeter, stronger beer.
edit: post road pumpkin ale if you're feeling seasonal...
I'd have to try "Monty Python’s Holy Grail".
It's pretty good, but I'd have to go with:
For On Tap:
Ommegang Abbey Ale
Paulaner Oktoberfest
Young’s Double Chocolate Stout
From Bottle:
CHIMAY CAP BLUE
ALLAGASH WHITE
ALLAGASH MUSETTE
And any/all of the cask ales ( I haven't had any of the cask)
