View Full Version : PC games your playing/looking foward to..
Feel like there hasn't been many great PC games in a long time. It's tuff cuz i only play PC games...Personally im looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 of course..Kinda sucks that blizzard takes so long to release anything that isn't World of Warcraft related..But non the less ive been waiting for Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3. Just feels like there never gunna come out :wallbash:
Anyway what are you guys enjoying as of now and have hopes to play (if you are still alive when they come out)
Also is there a way to track treads you have posted..and ones you have replied to?

I used to be heavy into PC games but have not bought one in over a year. I cannot afford to keep up with the hardware requirements -- or more accurately, my computer is getting old and I cannot get a better on -- so I do my gaming on the XBox now.
understandable..kinda sucks its hard for them to compete..blizzard is basically the only ppl putting out quality...modern warfare is gunna be good but it delayed on pc for 2 weeks after xbox release...xbox live is also awesome...i regret selling my xbox sumtimes = /...

Star Craft 2, which I pre-ordered 3 months ago and now waiting until early next year for.
AoE III was/is a good newer game. I give a honorable mention to L4D.
Otherwise I am still playing games from last year (and year before) like TF2, the second installment of Crysis, and Sins.

I totally forgot that they were working on Diablo III, I might have to get a new computer for that one. I am also tempted to try Star Trek on line if it ever gets done.

Diablo III and the next WoW expansion. I blow dogs at RTS so I couldn't care less about Starcraft 2.

So far all it's done is make me hate life, feel sort of sad, and want to go do something happy. But I am going to keep with it, stuff like this is why PC gaming is the best.

Graphics don't matter in a game like this. It's all about the complete feelings of desperation and depression that it can bring out in you.
It was made in 2005.

Spore. Cool for about 3 hours and then a total waste of money.
It's hard to find decent games for Mac. I'm thinking about trying Civ4 next.

Can I ask you something?
Why do you ever pre-order videogames? What good does it do you? Maybe I'm just accustomed to living near NYC and as such enjoying an abundance of game stores, but i've never needed to pre-order a new game because it would be sold out the day it came out.

I mostly do it because these days they give you something generally cool, if relatively useless, with your pre order. That, and if you're like me and just have to have the collector's edition you may not get one if you don't pre order it.

Currently playing Tropico 3. A really fun building sim, you play the part of a Caribbean island dictator from the 50s to modern life, it's hilarious.
Looking forward to:
Dragon Age: Origins is coming out soon, can't wait. From the previews, I doubt it's going to match some of the other great BioWare titles like KotOR, but it should be a good RPG, which is always nice to see with the decline of the genre in recent years.
Also, Football Manager 2010 is just around the corner, can't wait to guide some small club to world fame. This is the game that every year takes the most time out of my life. It's on par with the time I spent with every iteration of the Civ series.
Other games down the line:
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Alpha Protocol
Assassin's Creed 2
Mafia 2 (MLC should try and get some ad space in that game )
Culpa Innata 2
Gray Matter
