again one of my obsessive compulsive list thingies...
Drew Barrymore debuted Whip It as her first directorial effort
and the kid from A Christmas Story (Peter Billingsly) did his first directorial effort this week...Couples Retreat
so There are a million actors who've done and I'd like to make another list

almost all the big actors have done it...some have won Oscars for it
Warren Beatty, Mel Gibson, Kevin Costner, etc.

but I would say Woody owns the Actor/Writer/Director
and he lends it out to Albert Brooks
