When I was a kid, the word we used to refer to the ass was "goolie".

I know its kind of a bastardization of another similar sounding word, but that's what we called it in my house.

What did you call it as a kid, as a youth or as an adult?

I don't know what it means either. I've only heard of it in the last couple years because we had a coworker whose last name was Cooley and they made fun of him and I didn't know why until someone explained it to me.

Culo (pronounced coo-lo) is Spanish for the ay-ssss, hence coolie.
