View Full Version : Kill Bill: Vol. 3

Kill Bill: Vol. 3 is in the making.

Quentin Tarantino: "The Bride will fight again!"

But he says he wants it to take place exactly ten years after Vol. 2, in real-time. So it looks like a 2013/2014 launch. Maybe.

Confirmed in the most annoying interview ever. Confirms at 6:00 minutes. 8:30 for Story Details. Prepare for Italiano.

i think this sounds like the so called trainspotting sequel

its supposed to be 10 years in the future, so in hollywood actor terms they need close to 20 real years.

a 25 year old can play an 18 year old

and a 40 year old is expected to play 28

I am skeptical of this...I know Tarentino has a way of making any film great, or has parts of them that are great. But this...he's never really done a sequel from one of his films. In 5 or 6 years time I might be saying how great the movie is, but as of this post I am skeptical.

Is there any demand for this? Kill it...

He talked about this already when the 2nd KB was coming out. He wants to make the "3rd" one about the daughter of Vivica Fox's character seeking revenge on the Bride. He said he wanted to wait until the original actress was old enough to play the role, which I guess would fit into this timeframe. Of course, he said all of this in the douchiest way possible.

this would only work, if the bride dies

Shouldn't the name of this be "kill the bride Vol 1" then?

I didn't watch the interview, is this the black girl growing up and "still being raw about it" that he set up in the first one? Is that the premise I mean?

I always figured she would fight Uma's daughter.

Same.

B.B. vs Nikki: To the Death

It would be interesting to know/see that Vernita Green had the same problem as Beatrix: letting go of her past and her need for violence. There tends to be a need for someone with so many skills to want to pass it on to someone like an apprentice. So if this comes out, I would like to see both Beatrix and Vernita having issues with non-chalantly talking about how to use knives, defend one self, and harm someone just like explaining the birds and the bees, being nice to people, etc. Tragic figures, so screwed up.

Why would she want to kill Uma's daughter? That would make it pretty tricky for her to be any kind of even remotely sympathetic character.

I'd rather have the Vega Bros. prequel. They could use the Benjamin Button age-reversal technology to take away the double chins, wrinkles and paunches of Michael Madsen and Travolta.

TheMojoPin

No, we really don't need to see Travolta ever again. He's too far gone up his own ass with his shitty schtick. He could never pull off the PF-style thing again.

It seems like every twenty years or so Travolta comes up with a performance that's shockingly good. He comes out of nowhere and reminds you why he became a star in the first place. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again once he starts to enter his golden years. He could use his son's tragic death as a reference point for emoting in a role centered around some kind of premature loss.

Yay or nay?

I was hoping for something with this guy interviewing QT:

And what ever happened with the Kill Bill 1+2 DVD set with the movie put back together the way he intended in the first place?

Same here. Same thing with the 6 Star Wars movies set. What the fuck is taking so long?

I had put it off too, but Vol 1 and 2 are $7 a piece now. Once QT finally gets around to putting the whole thing together on BluRay I'll grab it.

I think Lucas is making it 3D (There is already an HD version that aired on TV, so they could have release a Blu Ray set, but I think they are waiting for the 3D theatrical release) I have purchased the original 3 Star Wars movies 4 times already (on VHS and DVD) and I'm sure that number is very low compared to some people.

Hey, quit stereotyping. I've only bought the original trilogy once and don't even have the new ones.
