Book: Frozen Ted head battered by workers (http://news.bostonherald.com/news/regional/view.bg?articleid=1201714&srvc=home&position=emailed)
Red Sox great Ted Williams’ head was treated like a “grotesque pinata” by a pair of Arizona cryonic lab workers who bashed the legendary slugger’s frozen skull with a wrench to dislodge it from its pedestal: a Bumble Bee tuna can, an explosive new book alleges.
“Little gray chunks of Ted’s head flew off, peppering the walls, skittering across the floor and sliding under the machinery,” former Alcor chief operating officer Larry Johnson writes in his scandalous expose, “Frozen: My Journey Into the World of Cryonics, Deception and Death.”

One thing I've never understood is why do they wait till the person dies? Isn't it too late to even in theory to heal someones disease if they've DIED from it?

As long as you have a little pixie dust, all you need to do is believe.

I believe, not sure, that the idea is cloning a new body and transplanting the brain.

Transplanting the 84-year-old brain?
Yeah, I'm sure ol' Tedddy was real sharp when he kicked it. Good plan.

One would think by the time they can clone a body and transplant a brain, they'd also be able to fight off senility.

I agree.
Doesn't make sense. It's not like he was a young guy with a disease, he lived a full life and should have died with dignity and not be a joke like he is now.

not neccesarily true, snoogans may be right
spy report-there is a gravesite for walt but many think it was just a ruse. in the tunnels underneath the magic kingdom is a wall with a 3 hole keyhole, only special "maintenance" workers have ever been seen entering the largest and only off-limits area under the kingdom. its the companys biggest secret and its because of this mystery has been the source of the disney on ice legend for decades
spyyyy out,c'ya!
