Ok so I have this website and it's set up the way I like it and junk. The only problem is I wanna change the domain name. I know there's no real way to do this,
so I wanna buy a new domain name and have it automatically redirect traffic to my current site.
How the heck do I do that?

I BELIEVE you have to call mafia life chris first to get the rights. From there it's anyone's guess.

Uhg! I am having a brain freeze/fart.
In the web site's server control panel there is a way to set the name and sub-domains, you can redirect from there but I can not remember what it's called.

Not entirely sure if this will help in your situation but you could always redirect the second domain to the correct location with a refresh in the META tag
META http-equiv="refresh" content="1;URL=http://www.notmooch.com"

if you use PHP you can redirect using
<?php header('Location: http://www.irishsingles.net/'); exit; ?>

I use hostmonster and it has the option in the control panel
just type redirect in the search and you should find an option like this on other hosting sites as well

You can direct more than one domain name to the same server/IP address...when you register the new name, just use the same settings.

Pix,
Buy your new domain, then call your host and tell then that you want your entire website moved to the new domain. They should be able to do that easily at no charge, especially if it's godaddy.
If not, you can just use the host's domain control panel to 'forward' the new domain to the old site address.
Don't worry I would never charge a pal for help with their website. But if I did work for free, and you pretended to be my friend, then called my unborn son fucked up names on the radio, I may send you a back charge on spite :)
And then if you continued to lie to people on your podcast I may have to clear the air by writing about the truth on www.mafialifeblog.com :)
Oh wait... nevermind, that wasnt you. I was just having a flashback!!
PS: If you ever need any help with web stuff or getting traffic to your sites, just let me know.

The best way to do it is from the server itself. If you don't self host, most hosting services have a control panel to do it. It's better for your Google rankings if you do it this way.
