Why wont women hang up?

I notice when I am on the phone women that when we are ending the call and we both say "goodbye" that most of the time women do not actually disconnect from the call. They seem to hang on the line, quietly.
I believe it could be for either of two reasons:
1)They want to hear if you bad mouth them after the call to someone else, or if she is discussed by whoever you are with.
2)They are too distracted to remember to hang up.
I only noticed it since driving on my cell and assumed that they would hang up and spare me the minutes.

married for 15 years and i have learned to say "bye" and hang up. i never wait for the response, if something important was left out she can call me back.

unless of course, if they try to get you to watch it with them, then you're fucked.

I once canceled my cable just for that reason.

if you think a woman has less to say because she's texting instead of talking you're nuts;

texting just gives them something to do with their fingers while they're talking.

I have gotten nailed a few times trying to make another call, and I am typing in the numbers and all of a sudden her voice startles me because I assumed the line was clear when she says "Who are you calling??" and my heart almost explodes.

girls don't hang up right away because they don't want to miss one important word you might have to say...like "you are the love of my life" or "I love you" or "you are so special", something like that.

I typically hang up on people though. I rarely finish a call with someone....oops. I hate talking on the phone.

i never answer my phone, i'd let it go to voicemail. then she could leave a msg about what happened, i'd probably call if death was involved. probably. but if she just left a msg saying she had something important to say i still wouldn't call back though. if it's not important enough to leave a msg about there's none need to call back. that's on her
