I assumed it was known that sub atomic particles travel faster than light on occasion. This seems to be the the same if not similar. As to why some photons traveling across the meter wide box's prisms would arrive at the detector before the other photons fired at the same time is a mystery, as photons are not really sub atomic. I can think the distance between the sun and the earth faster than the 8 minutes light takes :wink:
