I know that sometimes the D.C. tape delay show gets a different set of reruns than WNEW, but do you want to know what tonight's tape delay replay is?
The aftermath of the pinball smashing. Typical Al Dukes. It's a replay that:
1) Occurred within the last 2 weeks
2) It's the WHOLE show, not just a portion
3) It's a show ALL ABOUT AL.
F-U, Dukes. You couldn't produce a bowel movement if you downed a whole bottle of laxatives.

Not to defend Dukes, but the O&A replay on Saturday was equally fucked up because they played the First Break of O&A talking about busting the pinball machine and then came back from commercials with an entirely different break. I missed the shows so it was a fuckin tease...
From talking to guys on O&A's staff, they have nothing to do with weekend replays....
Oh, and for every person like you that complains there aren't old bits, there's a guy like me who wants to be caught up on stuff he missed recently. No matter what he plays, Dukes will get shit.
I can't believe I'm defending Dukes, but no matter what he chooses to play, people are gonna complain and I'm sure his bosses are telling him to play recent shit (they want to lure in new listeners, not appease the hardcore listeners). So, if you were producing, what would you do? Please a bunch of messageboard posters that wouldn't stop listening for anything or your bosses?
Again, I hate to be defending Dukes, but someone needs to play Devil's advocate...

i understand what you're saying Dan but sometimes he cna shake things up and maybe play one older bit. I'm not talking about an entire show of .com best ofs but maybe once in awhile put a .com bit in there. And some of the best midday/evening stuff he hasn't done in awhile lately either.

Dan, I'm sure his bosses have some influence on his picking of shows, but I don't think the entire blame should go to them. I'm sure he has a say so on more things than we know, and it's obvious he loves to drop the ball - constantly.
